Last Christmas, my thoughtful mother-in-law surprised us with an adorable, custom-made flag designed to grace the exterior of our RV. As Chad and I took our leisurely strolls through the RV resorts we often visit, we couldn't help but admire the flags and signs adorning fellow travelers' rigs, proudly bearing their names and hometowns. However, our flag's delightful debut was short-lived, as on only its second outing, a fierce gust of wind swept it away. Despite our earnest efforts to locate it and even the glimmer of hope that a kind soul might return it to the main office, our flag seemed to have vanished into the horizon, lost to the elements.
