I don’t know about the rest of you, but despite RVing for over 2 years now, sometimes we’re still forgetful and mess up something we should have down pat! It’s common for us to be in a hurry and when that happens, those obvious things get overlooked and we end up with trouble. I’m finally creating that checklist we told ourselves we needed 6 months ago when we left the coach in Florida and couldn’t recall if we plugged into power as we rushed to catch our flight.
Most recently, after a long weekend of vintage car racing (one of Chad’s hobbies), there was a lot to pack up and we unintentionally left a small bottle of fruit fly trap liquid on the counter. As we drove, it rolled off, the cap popped open, and sweet, vinegary smelling liquid ran all over the floor. After a long clean-up which later included professional carpet cleaning, we agreed for the sake of our RV and our marriage we need to do better. We’re hoping this checklist will help us and you minimize these fiascos!
